Düsseldorf is a wonderful city for a short weekend trip. In the city you will find a cozy historic center, a lot of modern architecture and gorgeous famous museums. There are also plenty of options for lovers of shopping (BIG BRANDS) and delicious food in Düsseldorf.

This picture was taken on Konigsalleet Street in Dusseldorf, also known to have one of the best Christmas Market in Europe. Indeed Christmas markets in all across Germany is magical , but this one is really special. The amazing lighting gives that golden look to the trees and makes the lane more spectacular. Moreover, the reflection of the illuminated trees in water is so wonderful, that you would immediately want to capture it in your camera. The street is also home to many luxurious brands, galleries, and famous cafes.
I visited the city during the Christmas period in December and it was truly immersed in festive mood with those beautiful lightings, local food, and the amazing local beer: altbier.
During the Christmas market, you can find many outdoor activities, such as ice rinks, live musical arenas and of course, the giant wheel ride for that best city view from the top
